Great opportunity for AAT/CAT/part ACCA qualified candidate to co-ordinate and carry out accounting & book-keeping function for portfolios of private client trusts and companies under supervision of Associate Directors. He/she will prepare and review trust and company accounts; review minutes and ensure all transactions reflected in book-keeping ledgers; provide guidance, support and training to other team members, specifically in relation to bookkeeping, accounts preparation and bank reconciliations and preparing quarterly reports for clients; provide information required by the Tax department. In-house systems training will be provided.
Candidate should have minimum 10 years private client trust and company experience, preferably in an accounting department; accounts preparation and bookkeeping skills; good interpersonal and analytical skills; high tact, diplomacy and confidentiality; flexible; ability to work to time pressures and react calmly to changing demands; ability to manage own workload and prioritise accordingly; good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
