Assistant Administrator, Crewing
Due to further new business client is looking to expand team to ensure high quality service provided to clients. The successful candidate will be working as a key member of the EMAS team, delivering Crew Management Services to in house companies, third party clients and white label services, and must deliver these services if other team members absent. Duties are payroll, contracting seafarers, certification verification - monitoring and control, drafting company minutes, bookkeeping as necessary, and company administration.
The successful candidate should be educated to a minimum GCSE level and experience of payroll or customer service related areas would be beneficial. He/she should be proficient in Microsoft Office; self motivated; ideally be willing to work towards a professional qualification; good organisational, time management and communication skills; flexible. Desirably he/she will have experience of Maritime Labour Conventions 2006, Standard Certification of Watchkeepers, Employment Law, Crew Management System, dealing with Bank Payments, and HR/Payroll administration.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
