Postholder will define business requirements for new solutions as per stakeholder requirements; review current state processes and identify problem areas and improvement/opportunities in existing business processes; evaluate proposed requirements and solutions against business objectives; participate in change management; research best practice options; conduct research to detail business process flows; define business information model including data definitions; perform gap analysis to understand impacts of proposed changes; help develop system specifications for projects with systems impact; develop functional and non-functional specifications; define temporary requirements for transitioning solution such as creating parallel operations, operational training and phased roll-outs; ensure functional requirements detailed enough to enable technical design; develop testing approach and test cases, and create testing scenarios; undertake user acceptance testing of system changes; feedback on whether solution meets requirements and implement corrective measures; identify risks and issues throughout project life cycle and mitigate risk; review changes to project scope and deliverables and advise on impact.
Candidate will have Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Commerce or Computer Science; Project Management Qualification such as Prince II Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP)/Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA); able to analyse and develop business solutions; problem solving skills and solution oriented; strong influencing skills.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
