Business Analyst & Deputy MLRO
The principal purpose of this role is to deputise for the firm's appointed and Jersey based MLRO and to act as Business Analyst for the Risk and Compliance function providing expertise in relation to systems, projects and testing together with the production of Management Information and implementation of efficient processes and procedures. The role is intended to assist with implementation, guidance and maintenance of a robust AML/CFT and sanctions framework in relation to policies, procedures and processes, controls and management information reporting. Specific areas covered are MI, training, CDD, suspicious activity reports, sanctions, business analysis/systems, police liaison notices and Court production orders, and projects; suggest efficiency improvements.
ICA Diploma in AML/equivalent desirable; excellent analytical and data interrogation skills a pre requisite; ideally experience in AML with good knowledge of Jersey AML/CFT legislation; experience with CDD and take-on procedures; good knowledge of MS Excel and other AML/CFT and sanction screening systems; experience in project environment, and basic knowledge of law firm matters relating to corporate, property, probate and fiduciary clients desirable; strong communication, analytical, methodical and organisational skills; flexible; "can do" attitude; able to use initiative, prioritise, multi-task and work under pressure; able to work to tight deadlines; high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
