Our client is ideally looking for an experienced compliance professional with extensive experience of current and emerging regulatory compliance and good knowledge and understanding of the Jersey and Guernsey AML regulations.  He/she will oversee and review new business monitoring findings and report for all Lines of Service; support client take-on team regarding AML policies, respond to AML queries, review AML procedures and assist with AML training; assist with implementation and maintenance of compliance monitoring programme undertaking monitoring including; periodic reviews; deviations register; delays register; HR vetting procedures; Migration project; MLRO reporting; assist with collating information for monthly reports; oversee receipt and action taken regarding Sanctions updates; GFIS Notices and JFCU Liaison Notices; act as Deputy MLRO; assist with projects on data collection, compliance risk and assessment of global standards, and annual compliance confirmation process; conduct Equivalence testing evidence Regulated/IOSCO Compliant Markets.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience of working in a compliance environment; a relevant compliance qualification; good knowledge and understanding of Jersey and Guernsey AML regulations and how to apply them to customers (new and existing); be credible and proactive communicator who can engage with all levels of staff; experienced compliance professional with relevant experience gained; extensive experience of current and emerging regulatory compliance; good organisational/ prioritisation skills & self-motivated; methodical working manner- eye for detail; proven track record in clear and concise communication skills – written (report writing) and oral communication and presentation.

Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
