Description

Postholder will take administer Debt funds and undertake related co. sec duties, assisting with admin of various other funds and diverse, expanding range of asset classes.  He/she will manage board meeting scheduling and minuting and document distribution; co-ordinate and track investment approvals through to settlement by liaising directly with the debt investment team and use of/input into their portfolio management system; deal with calls and distributions and reporting; distributions/ trade settlement/FX/hedging; familiarity with limited partnership and shareholders agreements and other fund related legal documents; maintain limited partnership/shareholder registers and other statutory records, investor data such as contact, bank account details and addresses in accordance with agreed procedures; execute transactions by way of document preparation/review and management; liaise with custodians, depositary, trade counterparties, lawyers, auditors and directors; process and record keep documentation for signing using DocuSign; prepare annual statutory filings and tax returns; assist with policy implementation and review; assist in-house counsel with local legal entities and compliance with laws, tax laws and group governance codes; maintain CPD.

Candidate will have previous experience of Private Equity/Debt fund administration, ideally at least 2 years; familiarity with limited partnership structures, investments, funds and treasury functions; working towards ICSA/STEP; GCSE English and Maths at Grades A* – B; A Levels/degree; IT literate and experience of all MS applications; Company Secretarial background beneficial; knowledge of Investran/Viewpoint/Portfolio monitoring system advantageous; ability to work to a high degree of accuracy; strong organizational, time management and communication skills at all levels; customer service oriented; motivated and flexible; good team player with positive attitude; ability to prioritise and work under pressure; ability to follow instructions and procedures; keen interest to develop one’s own abilities and knowledge; focuses on delivering results, meeting expectations and deadlines; ability to work autonomously.

Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
