Description

Great role opportunity to collaborate with team to manage a selected portfolio of Trusts and Companies, becoming expert in technical matters and ensuring policies and regulatory requirements implemented for clients.  Candidate will keep up-to-date with interest rate movements and changes in legislation; ensure statutory returns prepared and submitted; maintain and update client records; undertake reviews of financial statements and other legal/technical documents; manage key client and intermediary relationships; communicate with and visit clients regularly; ensure team achieves service standards; conduct meetings and produce minutes/resolutions; pro-actively complete client take-on process and on-going reviews of clients;  assist in team mentoring, development, discipline, training and counselling; ensure compliance with standard policies; assist in co-ordination of accounts preparation function; liaison with external auditors; be innovative on efficiency improvements; review and manage team administrator workload daily; assist with budgeting, monitoring against performance, review of staff time charging, preparation of quotations for potential and existing clients and billing; contribute to growth strategy and participate in sessions.

Candidate will be at least ICSA/STEP/ACCA qualified; have comprehensive experience within trust administration; management experience, preferably managing a large team; experience holding board positions as well as an authorised signatory; knowledge of local legislation/Corporate Governance; broad understanding of the wide range of fiduciary products offered globally; broad understanding of specific offerings within Corporate Services; strong people management skills; ability to inspire and develop junior staff; ability to work effectively in, and manage, a team; effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to formulate, consider and select the most appropriate solutions; committed to excellent client service.

Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
