Maternity cover contract to run from May-Dec 2019.  Purpose of role is to undertake independent reviews of all Retail and Account Opening packs to check completeness, consistency and accuracy against established requirements, checklists, policies and procedures and to provide excellent support with account opening process.  Duties involve providing guidance to staff; liaising with applicants; participating in new account training forums; identifying and escalating repeat errors and breaches; prevention of money laundering and fraud; participating in AML/CDD and Sanctions awareness training; awareness of AML “Red Flags” of suspicious activity; maintaining accurate record keeping of all relevant communication with internal stakeholders in relation to the accounts being reviewed / processed; complying with SLA timings; identifying procedural issues that impact delivery; maintaining New Account Spreadsheet and MIS trackers; producing MIS reports as required by Retail business.

Candidate will have knowledge on procedures and requirements on Account Opening; excellent knowledge of client CDD policies and procedures; good working knowledge of MS standard desktop packages; good communication skills at all levels; strong customer service mentality; successfully completed training and related assessments on AML and CDD; ideally experience in documentation review versus set requirements; ability to work independently and exercise good judgement calls; high attention to detail; ability to work on stretch deadlines.
