Our client seeks the ideal person to provide a full range of statutory and company secretarial services to  client facing teams ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and contractual obligations, whilst observing best practice.  He/she will manage and provide guidance and training on FATCA/CRS, mandatory disclosure, new legislation and tax data for client portfolios; ensure systems such as Jobstream are of high quality and data are suitable for facilitating reporting requirements; manage and develop team; attend meetings, external seminars and training sessions to manage knowledge and monitor upcoming changes; attend meetings and liaise with client teams; monitor individual time charging targets and write offs and individual fee invoices generated and monitor debts; ensure management of risk; carry out Performance & Development Reviews; record all time on the Company’s time recording system; achieve financial targets; review existing FATCA and CRS procedures to determine whether there is scope for enhancement; ensure data requirements arising from changes to the Jersey company tax returns are managed effectively.

Requirements are high level expertise and extensive technical knowledge with regards to FATCA and the CRS; proven track record of assisting with the reporting obligations on behalf of business and clients; well organised with ability to work under pressure; excellent relationship management skills and a track record in working across different service lines; ability to understand complex structures and transactions and articulate FATCA/CRS requirements; ability to make quick and concise decisions and clearly articulate the rationale; ability to review and understand new technical areas and design effective and efficient processes for implementation such as Economic Substance Requirements and Mandatory Disclosure Regime; .Work includes significant professional expertise and/or experience to develop and implement revised or new administrative, technical or professional policies and processes, with specific focus on FATCA/CRS; able to work independently; typically be manager of functional areas/senior individual contributors tackling planning and operations over a timescale of a year or years.

Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
