Great role to oversee management of the tax compliance function, chair meetings regarding relevant issues such as deadlines, workflows and turnaround times, and liaise with Tax Director regarding status of compliance clients.  Postholder will ensure work reviewed by Tax Seniors and Tax Associates; take ownership of monitoring advisory work relating to compliance clients; assist Tax Director with technical development of Tax Seniors and Tax Associates and ensure knowledge gaps highlighted and addressed; act as main contact, manage file turnaround and ensure matters addressed on commercial basis; assist with monitoring WIP, collate monthly WIP provisions and ensuring WIP provision deadline is met; fully understands the firm’s products and services and identifies opportunities to cross-sell, understands client base and is able to build relationships to ensure client retention and growth; work in conjunction with the Tax Co-ordinator to ensure that risk reviews are undertaken of tax compliance clients; build relationships and promote firm to facilitate new business opportunities.

Requirements are at least 4 years relevant experience and professional qualification; excellent organisational, time management and interpersonal skills; flexible and proactive; able to work to deadlines; motivated; attention to detail; team player; able to work on own initiative and independently; display lateral thinking; able to solve non-routine problems and analyse data from variety of different sources.

Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
