Trust Assistant Manager – Senior Administrator
Purpose of role is to be responsible for the preparation of annual financial accounts for a portfolio of private client trusts and companies, to include book-keeping and completion of annual reviews and to provide support to the team on administering the affairs of a portfolio of trust and companies for high net worth clients (full training will be provided). Postholder will undertake bookkeeping; deal with all follow up accounting matters after an in-house Technical Review; liaise with in-house tax department/ external advisors to provide accounting details for tax compliance purposes and ensure deadlines met for timely submission of tax filing; assist with FATCA and CRS reporting, including liaising with in-house FATCA team on their requirements and the preparation of reports; prepare quarterly reports for private client structures; assist with quarterly billing; deal with a varied range of client queries/projects.
Requirements are at least 4-5 years’ experience working in private client trust/company environment/audit firm; recently qualified ACA or ACCA; accounts preparation and bookkeeping skills are essential; ability to manage own workload and prioritise accordingly; good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels; flexible, with the ability to work to time pressures and react calmly to changing demands; strong analytical skills are essential, with accurate and timely completion of work; high level of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality is essential due to the nature of the work; proven client handling skills, with a good telephone manner; good working knowledge of MS Office packages, particularly Word and Excel (intermediate level),
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
