Great opportunity for the right person to manage financial aspects of property conveyancing, including recording transaction in accounting software and settlement of monies; maintaining purchase ledger including payment of suppliers; maintain accounting records at client matter level and group level; working in team to complete various matter management tasks; system administration; reimbursing staff for expenses.

Candidate should have Maths GCSE grade B; attention to detail; basic accounting knowledge; strong communication skills; ability to work under pressure; competence in Excel and accounting software programmes; good time management; ability to reconcile complex accounts; good team player.  Desirable: law firm experience, and entry level accounting/book keeping such as CAT.

Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
