Description
Great role opportunity focusing on client service delivery and team performance of client handling teams, whilst working with broader senior leadership team to drive vision, mission, values, profile, reputation and brand. Postholder will grow client base by developing existing and new client and intermediary relationships; work closely with Business Development and Marketing strategy, as well as providing mentoring and development to develop existing client relationships/win new business; advise on technical client specific matters; deliver agreed new business targets; act as ’relationship manager’ on portfolio of high risk and complex client entities; maintain knowledge of external business environment and relevant industry specific trends; lead pricing discussions; oversee new business proposals and pitch documentation for prospective clients; take project management approach; meet with new and existing clients; identify talent, provide coaching; focus on commercial needs; prepare and submit budgets and monitor business unit performance against budgets and wider competitors; work with leadership team to introduce operational change and efficiency initiatives.
The successful candidate should have Accountancy/Chartered Secretary/STEP/Banking,/Securities/other relevant Table 4 qualification; 15 years’ relevant finance industry experience with at least 8 years at senior level in offshore financial services; sound understanding of company financial management, complex financial information, company law and current industry legislation, corporate governance, compliance and risk management; experience managing and leading people, driving high performance; proven private client BD experience working with family office structures; established network of intermediaries with existing profile in the middle east; experience holding directorships; relationship, decision making, leadership, presentation, persuading, influencing and interpersonal skills; commerciality with a strong degree of business acumen; emotional resilience and results driven with a proactive and disciplined approach.
