Description

This role presents an exciting opportunity to support group-wide compliance driven activities in accordance with regulatory requirements.  Postholder will assist with development of annual Group Compliance Monitoring Programme and with coordination of detailed monitoring reviews and report to Boards; liaise with stakeholders; assist completion of 'second line' tests of operational 'business as usual' areas; assist in identifying, assessing, monitoring, managing and mitigating money laundering and financing of terrorism risks; assist in maintaining range of compliance linked logs and databases, all of which focus on ensuring excellent levels of data being recorded and actions taken; assist in implementing and maintaining financial crime, sanctions and terrorist financing policies and procedures; assist with the analysis of legal and regulatory changes in relevant jurisdiction; assist with a wide range of project related initiatives to deliver process improved improvements.

Candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience in compliance function; good understanding of regulatory requirements affecting CI law firm and trust company business; experience of refreshing and administering a Compliance Monitoring Programme in line with changing risks and regulatory environment; knowledge and understanding of various trust and company structures and AML/CDD requirements; ability to make decisions and use initiative; excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
