Description
Our client is seeking a candidate for an 18 month contract for a varied role including typing, transcribing and other Word Processing tasks; filing and correspondence; telephone and conference calls; diary management; checking and processing business related expense claim forms; file management and archiving, ensuring all matter opening data is captured; assisting with conflict checks; booking meeting rooms, equipment and catering; checking and proof-reading documents and amending; assisting in the creation of new clients / matters on Document Management system; adding partner and fee earner contacts and ensuring data is up to date to include accurate profiling of contacts; adding partner and fee earner marketing & business development activities to contacts list; adding contacts to LinkedIn and keeping profiles up to date; ensuring partners and fee earners review and update their biographies on a regular basis and pass any amendments to the M&BD team for updating on the website.
The successful candidate will have strong planning, communication and organisation skills; good team player; able to prioritise and work under pressure; educated to A-Level standard (or equivalent); experience in a similar role; proficiency with MS Office applications; good typing speeds and accuracy are essential; secretarial / administration qualifications advantageous; previous experience of working in a legal environment would be beneficial but not essential.
