Description
Exciting role managing complex client structures and supporting existing portfolio of clients and other new business opportunities. Postholder will assist with preparation of new client proposals/fee quotes and participate in new business pitches; assist with take-on and transfer-in of new business; ensure fund operations processing, including drawdowns, distributions, transfers of interest, closings and equalisations; assist with billing process and monitor debtors; assist with data input quality control and maintain funds systems; act as authorised signatory; ensure compliance; handle client service issues; ensure annual financial statements prepared and filed on a timely basis and coordinate with investor reporting and audit; ensure errors/breaches identified are raised immediately; act as mentor and undertake appraisals.
The successful candidate will have proven fund experience, preferably administration and company secretarial experience; hold chartered secretary/chartered governance qualification (or ACCA/legal); strong knowledge of Jersey's Funds, Partnership, Company, AML, economic substance and tax regulation and legislation, and have proven experience in Jersey funds, corporate and tax filings; understanding of identifying and managing foreign tax risk, complex fiduciary risk and financial crime risk; good knowledge of MS desktop software; excellent organisational, leadership, staff management and communication skills; a plus would be knowledge of Investran, Viewpoint and Document Management Systems.
