Description
Exciting opportunity to fufill this key person role including some line management responsibility, duties to involve: considering internal SARs; managing post disclosure relationships to avoid tipping off; maintaining SARs register; monitoring DMLRO performance; ensuring AML and CFT provide training on AML/CFT and sanctions in line with current regulations; implement and support AML initiatives; review and comment on Risk Escalation Forms related to entities/clients in SAR register; conducting PEP, Sanction, ML and TF screening; undertake compliance reviews and projects; review sanctions policy; report to Board and complete Risk Assessments; act as Bribery Reporting Officer; respond to auditor requests.
The ideal candidate will have substantial finance sector experience, ideally predominantly funds, and experience with performing AML/CFT/CPF roles in regulated financial services business; hold AML qualification/similar/studying towards; sound knowledge of Jersey AML and CFT, Financial Services (Jersey) Law and Trust and Funds Codes of Practice; excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills; self motivated, flexible, proactive and able to prioritise; good knowledge of MS Outlook, Word and Excel and ability to grasp key databases some bespoke.
Flexible working between home and office possible.
