Description
Great opportunity to provide general administrative HR support including production of standard letters, documents, and employment contracts; maintain and review policies/procedures; co-ordination of appraisals and salary reviews; inputting and compiling data using HR Information/ Payroll system; maintaining personal files, including scanning data and archiving of records; assisting with recruitment and selection, onboarding, and leaver processes; assisting in production of reports and presentations; helping coordinate and develop adverts; collecting terms and conditions, negotiating rates and benchmarking data; assisting with training and bursary placements; supporting delivery of employee engagement plans, initiatives, and activities, and analysis of employee engagement survey; undertaking exit interviews and monitoring feedback; dealing with employment relations such as disciplinaries, grievances and sickness absence; taking minutes; handling parental leave.
The successful candidate will ideally have knowledge of Human Resources acquired through a professional HR qualification and 2-3 years experience in a similar role; hold CIPD qualification or equivalent (ideally level 3)/similar; ideally have knowledge of Employment, Discrimination, Data protection legislation, and regulatory requirements; excellent attention to detail and accuracy; strong communication, listening, organisational, judgement, planning, project management, problem solving and questioning skills; proactive and able to meet deadlines; good relationship builder; operational knowledge of internal policies and terms and conditions of employment; competent in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and ability to learn other relevant software packages.
Role is part-time of 3-4 days/15-20 hours per week which must include a Friday; flexibility to work a few extra hours if required is a plus.
