Description
This role will progress large case portfolio (realising assets, conducting investigations and making distributions), addressing compliance and asset realisations, managing client relationships and liaising with creditors; applying technical knowledge and resolving client problems; managing planning and control of trading operations; managing sale of business; preparing WIP schedules and billing plans; understanding potential trade-offs between fee/profit maximisation and long term business; understand workings of enforcing security and guarantees; identify critical issues and make clear recommendations; review progress on assignment against budget; identify and deliver training needs and conduct appraisals and coaching; deal with performance issues; contribute to marketing including attending events, generating new initiatives, and following up targets and contacts; understand market and current developments; contribute to presentation and sales pitches; prepare fees estimates and written proposals; spot cross-selling opportunities.
The successful candidate will possess accounting/other professional qualification and at least 5 years relevant work experience; experience in recovery assignments, including contentious and non-contentious matters, independent business reviews and investigation matters; experience in networking and managing/supervising staff; excellent communication, organisation, time management, problems solving, analytical and planning skills; effective team management; initiative and lateral thinking; proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, IPS and Drive; strong technical knowledge and understanding of budget structure, client business and departmental strategy, current accounting and insolvency regulations and financial service clients; proven experience in managing and handling a mixed client base; ability to manage projects.;
